Week 5 – Recovery, Free Time, and Exploration 🇬🇷
During the fifth week of the Erasmus stay on Crete, the focus shifted away from work due to unexpected time off after the events of the previous week.
The week was mainly used for recovery and rest. Physical recovery played an important role, so activities were kept light and relaxed.
Most of the time was spent at the accommodation, relaxing, spending time by the pool, and doing everyday activities such as cooking or watching shows. Compared to the previous weeks, this week was much quieter and less structured.
In addition to resting, there was also time to explore different places on the island. This included visiting locations such as Heraklion and other nearby areas, going to the beach, walking through towns, and enjoying local food.
The weekend was also used for a short trip, combining relaxation with sightseeing and time at the coast.
Overall, the fifth week felt more like a break within the Erasmus stay, focusing on recovery, relaxation, and exploring the island at a slower pace.
