Week Three – Tech Puzzles and Siga-Siga Recovery

Week Three – Tech Puzzles and Siga-Siga Recovery

Monday, April 13th 2026

It was Orthodox Easter Monday, a public holiday, so no MagicNet shift—pure bliss after Week 2's chaos. Marvin, Victor, and I headed to Heraklion for a relaxed café sit-down, wandering the city center aimlessly before hitting the beach.

Gray skies couldn't dampen the vibe; we collected cool stones and spotted a cute stray cat, turning it into a low-key adventure. Back home, we chilled indoors as rain picked up, watching NBA Basketball Playoffs. A perfect recovery day.

Work kicked off steady at MagicNet with classic detective mode. No massive overhauls, but I dove into repairs: troubleshooting a finicky GPU that refused to boot - turns out a sneaky loose cable was the culprit after swapping slots and testing components. Another PC kept crashing under load; after ages of diagnostics, we pinned it on the PSU not delivering stable power. Felt good nailing those "overlooked simple fixes."

After work, more siga-siga: a short harbor stroll in Heraklion, soaking in the lively post-Easter buzz despite the drizzle. Evening was low-energy—group hangout with NBA playoff chatter, easing back into routine

Quietest MagicNet day yet; minimal tasks meant warehouse tidying and SSD/HDD swaps on older rigs for speed boosts—routine but satisfying. Used downtime to reflect on Week 2's sleep drama; patience improving already.

Bad weather locked us indoors, so I dove into Diablo IV rediscovery—thrilled to spot news of an upcoming expansion, which sucked me in for hours. Hygiene frustrations simmered too: no one restocking toilet paper, dishes with food scraps lingering days, and me still the only one scrubbing the toilet. Crucial for my colitis, but ignored by all—it bred unease, though a reluctant tolerance was creeping in. No way I'd clean up after everyone.

Shop work was chill: standard upgrades on legacy hardware, Prodromos hooking us up with spares. Steady, but my mood dipped from yet another sleepless night-Torben's asthma noises turned evenings torturous, pushing me deeper into solo mode.

Rainy vibes kept me glued to Diablo IV, grinding builds and eyeing that expansion hype. House mess gnawed harder-trash piles, unwashed plates, zero shared effort. It's gross living amid the chaos, especially health-wise, but fighting it solo felt pointless. Acceptance or isolation: pick one.

Light wrap-up at MagicNet-polishing repairs, building quiet confidence. Nights stayed brutal, sleep elusive amid the wheezes, so I retreated fully into gaming marathons.

Diablo IV devoured the gloomy days indoors; expansion buzz fueled non-stop sessions. Cleanliness tolerance grew unwillingly-essensreste on dishes, empty TP rolls untouched.
But it's eroding my comfort. Can't take this habit home.

Free day blurred into Diablo IV immersion, weather too crap for outings. Group did a garden BBQ, but I skipped, prioritizing recharge amid ongoing sleep hell and house filth.

Knossos trip turned out super cool. finally a highlight worth ditching Diablo for. We spotted and photographed roaming peacocks amid the Minoan ruins and frescoes. History felt alive in a way photos never capture. First day in ages I felt somewhat at ease, thanks to improving weather and Victor's hack: free entry for under 25s, but as a 29-year-old I'd have paid full price - Victor snuck me in as his "escort", total lifesaver. Thanks Victor <3.

We even talked things out; I vented my sleep/hygiene woes to someone who actually listened, not just nodded. Refreshing shift from isolation - first group thing in days that was nice for me.

Week Three Summary – Puzzles Solved, Balance Flickering Back

Week 3 mixed MagicNet fixes (GPU cables, PSU crashes, SSD swaps) with indoor Diablo IV escapes from sleep hell and hygiene nightmares (unrestocked TP, dirty dishes, solo toilet duty). Siga-siga walks, BBQs, and Knossos awe-peacocks, free entry hack, real talk with Victor - cracked my shell. Reluctant tolerance built, but hoping rest improves for Week 4's warehouse chaos.
